As Funding & Compliance Manager, you’ll step into a crucial role within an efficient and friendly department where your work will have a massive impact on the college's finances. 

You’ll be recognised for the top-down effect the role carries and be provided with the support needed to efficiently do your job.

In addition to managing the preparation of all external funding, data returns and claims, you’ll work closely with the wider Data Services & Exams team to explore ways of improving practices as well as being the ‘face’ of Audit college-wide.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • The submission of funding and ILR data to the ESFA

  • Being the designated audit lead for external audits with funding and compliance 

  • Designing and managing all internal audit programs

  • Manage the data held within EBS/Promonitor/Strata etc. is complete and accurate

  • Line manage funding and compliance officers

  • Championing our commitment to putting students first

  • Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

  • Have a strong understanding of further education funding models

  • Hold experience in Further Education Audit (Including Apprenticeships, Study, and Adult Education budgets)

  • Have a good understanding of FE College course structures 

  • Hold excellent data analysis skills & data interrogation skills

  • Be able to communicate complex data-related concepts to non-specialists

  • Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
