To ensure the next generation of installation professionals are properly ready for the real world of work on-the-tools ━we’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic electrician who’s looking at making the switch to teaching and is ready for a fresh challenge.
Whether you’ve taught before, trained up apprentices on-site, or simply enjoy passing on your knowledge and skills, we’ll fully support you every step of the way as you start an exciting new career in further education and become a qualified teacher.

You will be carrying out the full breadth of teaching duties, such as:
Teach on a range of courses, primarily levels 1 & 2 both in the workshop & theory
Play a part in developing our provision to ensure relevancy to the real world of site work
Engaging in an industry-leading CPD programme to expand your skills
Undertake in-house teacher training with the aim of gaining formal teaching qualifications
After your first year with us, success in this role would look like:
Built student skills to a high level in preparation for industry
Helped forge relationships with employers and other external organisations
Enthusiastically engaged with CPD to develop your own skills and further your career
We welcome all applicants who believe they would be a good fit. Though ideally, you will:
Be time-served with strong hands-on experience in electrical installation
Hold a relevant qualification preferably at level 3
Have or be willing to work towards a formal teaching qualification within 12 months
