We're looking for an energetic and dynamic individual who enjoys working in a multi-stakeholder environment and has a strong understanding of apprenticeships.

As coordinator, you will be working in partnership with the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority in a highly varied role.

Based in their Sheffield offices, you'll have a fantastic opportunity to network with others in your field as you collaborate with a huge range of other apprenticeship providers across the region.

You'll also be involved with the marketing of the project and manage a range of exciting activities designed to raise awareness of the venture!

Your success will have a massive impact on both employers and hundreds of young people across Sheffield, and there's massive scope for continued employment and progression at the end of the fixed term.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Hub manager on the development and implementation of the South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Hub

  • Keeping the Hub’s online profile up to date and supporting the awareness-raising activities of the Hub including management of specific campaigns and events

  • Administering and recording the receipt and processing of referrals for apprenticeship opportunities

After your first year with us, success would look like:

  • You've set up and developed the South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Hub to achieve the initiative’s initial goals

  • Increased levels of employer engagement particularly with SME organisations in the region that haven't recently had an apprentice

  • Delivered high-quality, responsive customer service to stakeholders

  • Built amazing relationships with key partners including the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA), the South Yorkshire Colleges Partnership (SYCP) and the South Yorkshire Providers Network (SYPN)

We're open-minded & welcome all applicants who believe they can succeed. Though ideally, you will:

  • Have knowledge and experience of apprenticeships and the apprenticeship levy

  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

  • Experience in administering multi-stakeholder projects

We also offer outstanding pension, benefits & annual leave packages
