About the Role

It is an exciting time to be joining the Academy of Pre-Technical and Skills for Living and Work. As an area of growth, you will be joining a team of people committed to helping those who are disadvantaged grow in confidence and realise their potential through learning.

  • Want a varied role where you will have the chance to get involved in all kinds of exciting projects while being based across two bustling campuses. Working closely with Learners, curriculum teams, parents & employers

Key Responsibilities 

  • Delivery of high-quality and impactful student contact time through a mix of work-related activity, industry speakers and work-based visits 

  • Support progression to further study and employment through relevant experiences of different technical areas 

  • Play a key role in ensuring all learners have exposure to experiencing the world of work through classroom-based delivery and work placements, where appropriate 

  • Ensure all academy students undertake work related activity as part of their study programme 

  • Improve outcomes for all academy students through meaningful sessions on employability skills 

  • Ensure robust and appropriate parent/carer and employer liaison
