Contract: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

The Academy of Health, Care and Health Technologies has developed an engaging, responsive and successful online curriculum offer for adult learners with a desire to develop new knowledge and skills in specific subject areas, such as dementia, autism and end-of-life care. To ensure that this offer continues to adapt, grow, and meet the needs of both employers and learners, we are looking for a dynamic Online Adult Learning Coordinator to join the team.

By offering a high level of personalised and responsive support, the postholder will have a direct impact on learner achievement and the success of the Academy as a whole. You will manage a small caseload of learners and assess them in line with awarding body requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and grow the online offer to ensure that it meets the needs of both our learners and employers!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the distance learning email inbox
  • Deliver information, advice and guidance to prospective learners to ensure that they choose the appropriate course
  • Ensure that learners have a smooth and supported experience of enrolment, especially those studying as distance learners
  • Coordinate assessment, IQA and EQA activity, ensuring that courses achieve and maintain Direct Claims Status
  • Provide clear and detailed reports
