Salary: £27,266 - £27,266 per annum

Contract: Full time

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

The UK needs great tradespeople to support the growth of our fantastic construction industry – but those future tradespeople need someone to inspire, nurture and train them to be the best they can be. Could that be you?

As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in the development and assessment of our full time learner’s. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the skills and knowledge of learners on various levels of Brickwork and Plastering, ensuring they meet industry standards and are well-prepared for a successful career in their chosen sector

You’ll regularly work with learners to teach and evaluate their progress. By providing constructive feedback and guidance, you’ll help them achieve their learning goals and improve their performance. Developing and maintaining assessment plans, you will tailor them to be successful in their chosen specialism, ensuring a cohesive approach to their development.

Keeping accurate records of assessments, feedback, and progress reports will be a key part of your role. Staying up-to-date with industry developments, you’ll support learners in preparing for their assessments and qualifications. By promoting a positive learning environment, you will encourage apprentices to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Teaching Practical sessions in workshop
  • Working with current lecturing team
  • General Housekeeping
  • Ensure Health and Safety maintained

Skills & Knowledge
