Position: Lecturer in Digital Technologies

Salary:  £30,416 - £37,484 per annum (pro-rated for part time)  

Contract: Permanent

Location: The Sheffield College 

Hours: Part Time 14.8 Hours x 52 Weeks Per Year

About the Role

Would you be excited to be involved in preparing the next generation of students for a portable career across the digital technologies industries? We require an outstanding candidate with a background in computing/ digital technologies to join our first-class team in our higher education department.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan, deliver, and assess modules for our Digital Technologies programmes, including HNC/D Computer for England Technical Pathway and HNC Digital Technologies (Cyber Security & Cloud Networking).
  • Monitoring key performance indicators, analysing attendance and achievement data, and setting targets to improve standards.
  • Engage in curriculum development activities, including the creation of learning materials, marking student assignments, and ensuring learning objectives are met and recorded.
  • Ensure the quality of the student learning experience through effective delivery of formal teaching, blended learning, and tutorials, focusing on student progression and successful completion.

Skills & Knowledge
