Salary: £24,939 - £27,613 per annum (pro-rated for part time)

Location: Sheffield 

Hours: 29.6 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role 

Operating from two campuses at the Sheffield College, the Print Services team provide an extensive range of printing resources to our thriving community. We are very much a Student First team and as such you will be ready to take that extra step to ensure they receive a great experience.  

The role includes operating print room machinery, including electric guillotine, folder inserters and laminators. You will help maintain records for our stock control, copyright records and departmental use and costings.  

Although training would be given to the right person, this is a customer facing role and as such you will need to be a great communicator. Working in a college gives access to learning opportunities and professional development. You will gain technical skills in printing technology and opportunities to collaborate with various departments, building strong teamwork skills. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Proof reading 

  • Copyright legislation  

  • Operating print room equipment and stock control  

  • Provide a range of services including laminating and binding 

  • Meeting deadlines in a challenging environment  

  • Keep and produce accounts / costs of departmental use on a monthly basis  

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of a working print room would be advantageous, but training will be given
