About the Role
Would you like a longer term interim role within a college finance team, dealing with high profile projects ?
We’re looking for an experienced person with an eye for detail to step into a high profile, longer term interim role. You’ll be using your communication and analytical skills to support project managers and budget holders across the organisation – all in a supportive public sector environment with outstanding benefits.
Key Responsibilities
You will be carrying out the full breadth of reporting capital projects including:
Monitoring and reporting of capital spend, including leading monthly meetings with senior stakeholders
Dealing with all aspects of capital grant funding
Understanding terms for present and future grant funding agreements, including ensuring accurate and timely returns

Skills & Knowledge
We are open-minded and welcome all applicants who believe they would be a great fit. We do require GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) and ideally, you will:
Have experience in an accounting position involving technical accounting and ideally in relation to capital projects
Have experience in supporting budget holders to manage their finances
Have strong communication skills with non-financial managers
Have commenced study towards a professional accountancy qualification
Be confident manipulating large data sets using excel
